- lbl-print is a browser-first label printing and craft-cutting product. Design labels with text, photos, icons, and clipart in Text, Markdown, Layout, HTML, or Canvas; preview live; and print or cut across Bixolon, Brother, Citizen, DYMO, Epson, Godex, Honeywell, Munbyn, NIIMBOT, Phomemo, Rollo, SATO, Silhouette, TSC, Toshiba TEC, Xprinter, and Zebra — no manufacturer suite to install.
- Which printers and cutters does lbl-print support?
- Brother QL and P-touch, DYMO, NIIMBOT, Zebra, TSC, Phomemo, Silhouette craft cutters, and more — 17 brands in all (155 printer models, 19 cutters, and 344 media types). See https://lbl.print/supported for the full model list with maturity and media.
- Do I need to install anything?
- On Windows, install the lblprint app from this site — that is the main path. On Linux, open the browser app (Open app) with no install. Some browsers or devices may still need lblprint once; you keep designing in Studio.
- How does browser printing work?
- You design labels in the browser and print or cut straight to your device — no manufacturer app. Most connections use WebUSB, Web Serial, or Web Bluetooth. Some devices or browsers need the free lblprint helper once; you keep designing and printing in the same browser tab.
- Can I use photos, icons, and clipart?
- Yes. Upload your own images, browse the in-app Iconify gallery (Lucide, Heroicons, and more), follow outbound free-icon directories, and start from curated starter designs sized for common label media. Canvas and Layout also import SVG vectors for print or cut paths.
- How do I design labels?
- Studio has five modes: Text, Markdown (CommonMark/GFM), Layout (nested flex), HTML, and Canvas (layers, multi-select, snap guides, shapes, SVG, undo). QR codes, 1D barcodes, and industrial 2D / GS1 / postal symbologies, plus date/time stamps, rotate/mirror/vertical text, and catalog fonts.
- Can I print a batch from a spreadsheet or address book?
- Yes. Import CSV, TSV, or Excel with field mapping, or paste JSON `each` data. Serialization adds number sequences. A local address book imports Google and Outlook CSV/XLSX and merges selected contacts into labels. Templates stay in the browser unless you choose to print or send feedback.
- Does lbl-print cut on Silhouette Cameo or Portrait?
- Yes. Silhouette / Graphtec GPGL craft cutters (Cameo, Portrait, and related catalog rows) cut over WebUSB. Force, speed, mat, dual-tool, autoblade depth, and multipass are available. Not Cricut, and not print-then-cut / registration marks.
